November 14 to 16, 2010 | Canadian Museum of Nature | Ottawa
As a strategic and action based forum, the HCHS Conference took place at the Museum of Nature in Ottawa from November 14th to 16th, 2010.
With more than 100 multi-sector
champions and experts engaged, we explored the roles that
outdoor spaces, risk, perceptions of risk and liability,
access to safe, inspiring outdoor play, learning and living
have on the health of our children and communities. Outcomes
addressed eliminating existing barriers and increasing access
to healthy spaces towards fostering opportunities
so that every child can learn, live and play outside
